New Hope Valley Railway’s (NHVR) Brew ‘n’ Choo Strawberry Festival on Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. is truly a strawberry event. In addition to train rides, visitors can celebrate the prime of North Carolina’s strawberry season by purchasing fresh, local strawberries, taking photos with the North Carolina Strawberry Association mascot and enjoying a strawberry-inspired menu from NHVR’s food vendor Chef’s House.

Brüeprint Brewing Company will pour its most popular beers, Doyle’s Vineyards will serve wine for tastings and by the glass, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream of Apex will serve ice cream and Iconic Productions DJ will provide the entertainment.

The Horseless Carriage Club of America will be at the railyard from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. displaying collectible and vintage automobiles. All Brew ‘n’ Choo events are family-friendly fundraisers that benefit projects at the railroad. View train departure times and purchase tickets on our Buy Tickets page.
